Did you know that Hilton Head Island, SC has 12 miles of oceanfront? That’s 12 miles of beach for you to sit and relax, ride bikes, and enjoy the salty air. There are 7 beach parks that allow public access, and they cover the entire island – North to South – welcoming visitors and residents year-round!

We love those full beach days, when you break out the chairs and umbrellas with nowhere else to be.
Preserving our beaches and protecting wildlife is a top priority on Hilton Head, so please remember to pack up all of your things – including trash – when you leave. Fill up any holes that you’ve dug, and staying off of all dunes at all times. By doing this, we can keep our beaches clean, and our wildlife in a safe area. The main event for many visitors, public beaches are easy to find and accessible throughout the the island. Certain beaches may offer more amenities that others, such as grills, picnic pavilions, or seasonal lifeguards and beach rentals.
